The Association

The Swiss Atlasology Association (SVFA) was founded in 1994 to promote atlasology. It connects members, clients and organisations within the health care sector.

The SVFA is registered at the location of the Secretariat. It brings together atlasologists, while acting in an advisory capacity towards clients and organisations such as health insurance companies, regulatory authorities and therapists. The SVFA assures the quality of its members' activities, which is why continuing education and training are on its agenda every year. The SVFA is actively working to make atlasology become more widely known and is committed to it becoming recognised by health insurance companies and regulators.

The SVFA has no commercial purpose, nor any political or religious affiliations.

Mission statement

The SVFA brings together professional health care providers. Its members work with the aim of promoting and maintaining health. They believe in the body's ability to heal itself and they are ethically mindful and responsible in their day-to-day work. Every member of the SVFA has confidence in the atlasology technique and in their professional colleagues.

Ethics

The Swiss Atlasology Association attaches great importance to the ethical and responsible conduct of its members. Ethics serves as the basis for a sense of responsibility, moral understanding, and awareness of acting for the benefit of all.
Atlasologists are ready to assist any person seeking help within the scope of their abilities. In doing so, they do not pay attention to the social or financial situation of the client.
Atlasologists will provide clients with any information they request about atlasology. However, under no circumstances will they make diagnoses in the medical sense, nor will they make any promises to cure or treat illnesses. Likewise, atlasologists do not prescribe medication.
All atlasologists believe that we have self-regulating life energy within our bodies and they know that atlasology activates the body's ability to heal itself.
Atlasologists accompany and support the client's path to healing. Anything that the client entrusts to the atlasologist remains confidential. The autonomy and integrity of the client is respected and their decisions are accepted.
All atlasologists are subject to mandatory training and regular continuing education.
If an atlasologist reaches their own limits with the technique, they must respect this. Atlasologists acknowledge any kind of treatment that can help their clients. If a visit to the doctor or an operation is necessary, clients are not discouraged from doing so. Atlasologists are ready to cooperate with all therapists, doctors and institutions working for the well-being of their client.
Atlasologists respect the human rights of each individual (www.humanrights.ch).

Basic principles

The Statutes of the SVFA
Like every association, the SVFA has its statutes stating its purpose, tasks, etc. The SVFA was founded in 1994 to represent the interests of atlasology. Everyone is welcome to join the SVFA as an active member, passive member or benefactor.

Atlasology Quality Management (AQM)
The SVFA was founded in its present form at the beginning of 1997. This also marked the beginning of the development of Atlasology Quality Management (AQM).
AQM is an important tool for improving our chances of success. It is at the same time the basis, reference work, guideline and framework for our activities in the interest of and for the benefit of our partners.
